There are a large number of chemicals which pose extreme
hazards due to their toxicity, reactivity, or shock sensitivity
and explosive potential. E.S.I. has the experience and
training to handle these chemicals safely, as well as
the specialized equipment to mitigate the hazard, such
as remotely operating opening devices.
Recognizing and understanding the hazards associated with
these chemicals requires not only experienced and trained
employees, but also access to information about them.
E.S.I. routinely uses various reference sources, as well
as a computerized Material Safety Data Sheet library.

BIOHAZARD
WASTE
In today’s environment situations arise that require
the ability to remediate crime scenes, vehicle accidents,
and severe workplace injury sites.
E.S.I.’s
trained technicians provide complete site decon and restoration
along with proper disposal.
ASBESTOS
E.S.I. is the only licensed emergency response demolition contractor
that provides asbestos abatement. E.S.I. is a licensed asbestos
abatement contractor and handles abatement projects on a daily
basis. E.S.I. provides proper transportation and disposal of
asbestos containing wastes. E.S.I.
is also the only licensed Spill Contractor that is also licensed
to provide emergency abatement for the Connecticut Department
of Environmental Protection.
UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS
E.S.I. routinely performs underground storage tank removals
throughout Connecticut. We arrange all necessary permits and
inspections, and we ensure that all work is performed in accordance
with federal, state and local regulations. E.S.I. maintains
a large fleet of excavation and pumping equipment to deal
with a wide variety of tank configurations.
